DECEMBER NEWSLETTER FOR THE SANCTUARY
Contribution by Naomi Freidus
This December marks nearly one year since The Sanctuary re-opened its doors and with some exciting new classes and services! With a fresh new look and a talented crew of instructors, massage therapists, nutrition coaches and more, we are offering the North Lake Tahoe locals and visitors a place where you can indulge in all things for the wellness of your mind body and spirit.
For me, this December marks my 10 year anniversary at The Sanctuary. I started out as a yoga teacher and while there I began my own journey deeper into the profession of the healing arts and went back to school in my mid forties to become a massage therapist. Beginning my career here was and continues to be a dream come true. Stepping through the door of this sanctuary of healing to go to “work” feels more like a warm welcome every day. As the massage manager it is my mission to bring our community the very best therapists, and to create a cooperative and harmonious atmosphere that is palpable.
The Sanctuary would like to introduce two new massage therapists. Paula Pagayunan has been a massage therapist for more than 10 years and has an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and movement. This translates into a body treatment that addresses specific injuries or physical deficits and feels amazing!
Anthony Tucker is our newest addition to massage and is the master of the flowing, Swedish relaxation massage. He also incorporates deep tissue work giving the recipient a deeply nourishing and healing experience!
During these cold winter months indulge yourself with a detoxifying hot Himalayan salt stone massage. We also offer some enhancements such as cupping, aroma therapy, and CBD options to really ramp up your pampering experience. Want to give the gift of massage to a friend or loved one? We have gift certificates which you can purchase on our website www.thesanctuarytahoe.com
Yoga at The Sanctuary is thriving with multiple classes and styles to serve all levels of yogis. Our diverse group of highly trained and inspiring instructors each bring something unique to their craft. We would like to introduce 2 new gifted yoga instructors, Nev Kundacina and Kerry Taylor to our Tahoe Sangha (meaning community).
As we continue to grow at The Sanctuary look out for events or workshops by joining our Facebook page : The Sanctuary Tahoe or follow us on Instagram at thesanctuary.tahoe where you will also find helpful informational videos from our therapists and instructors!
This holiday season you can give your loved one the gift of wellness by shopping at The Sanctuary. We offer locally handmade yoga mat bags with Lake Tahoe and our logo, CBD products by Serenity Wholebeing, yoga clothing, and gift certificates for massage services.
